By all appearances, the World Pool Association and Matchroom are determined to peacefully coexist moving forward, with previously announced bans on players lifted and an all-clear directive given to players who have retained good standing in the world body for future Matchroom World Nineball Tour events.

While no formal contract had been signed as of BD’s press deadline, sources within both camps have confirmed that, after several months of negotiating, the two sides have agreed on all the details pertaining to a deal and that contract language is all that remains to be ironed out. Once a deal is inked, the previously battling entities would likely issue a joint release which will essentially release all players worldwide to participate in both WNT and WPA events.
